Thank you for inquiring about our St. Mark Thrift Store. At this time our store is temporarily closed. We will announce here when we plan to re-open.
Thrift Shop has been open since 1988 and contains three distinct areas:
Kid’s Closet: Low cost clothing and toys for children.
The Ladies Boutique: Affordable women’s clothing and accessories.
Annie’s Attic: Gently-used household decorations, kitchen items, and more!
St. Mark’s Thrift Shop is staffed and stocked entirely by the generosity of volunteers dedicated to providing this service to our community. We always welcome and encourage donations and volunteer hours.
Our church choir sings at the 11am worship service during our program year schedule, and at the 10am worship service during our summer schedule. New voices, as well as people with instrumental talents are welcomed and encouraged to participate!
A group in our community dedicated to making our worship run smoothly; preparing elements for Holy Communion, readying our projection system, tidying our worship space, and more. The fruits of their labor behind the scenes becomes apparent each and every Sunday.
Interested in joining in on the fun? We have joined forces with Immanuel Lutheran Church, Prospect Hill Baptist Church, Prospect Park, PA and St. John's Lutheran Church, Folcroft PA to create a regional youth group. Come join in on the learning, friendship, and fun!
Open to all area youth who are in 6th through 12th grade. We will be meeting the third Sunday of every other month - Nov., Jan., March, May
St. Mark has had a longstanding relationship with the Life Center, a homeless ministry in nearby Upper Darby Township. The fourth Monday of each month we partner with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, in Wallingford, PA to provide 160 meals for their residents. People in our community provide food and give of their time to package and transport the meals from St. Mark to the Life Center.
Flower Delivery Team
Our flowers are purchased each week by our members either in honor of or in memory of others or various intentions. After worship on Sundays, a group of our members takes care to deliver the flowers to those who aren't able to get to worship each week or those whom special intentions were offered.
While our pastor might lead much of our worship service, we believe everyone has a role to play. Each Sunday people give of their time to, welcome people to worship, read from scripture, collect our offering, serve communion, and run our projection system.
